Discover the Teen Corner at Pensacola Library
Did you know the Pensacola Library offers a dedicated space just for teens? A welcoming, teen-only area featuring comfortable seating, downtown views, and plenty of room to study solo or hang with friends, the Teen Corner is designed with young adults in mind. Located separately in the Youth Services department, it provides a quiet, relaxed environment to focus, create or unwind.
Teens also have access to public computers and a variety of helpful resources, including school supplies like paper, highlighters, and calculators. The space features board games, book displays, and fun extras such as buttons, stickers, coloring sheets and interactive polls and questionnaires. Whether you’re working on assignments or just looking for a place to hang out, the Teen Corner offers a flexible, reserved space just for you.
In addition to the dedicated space, Pensacola Library hosts a wide range of teen-focused programs:
- Teen Book & Movie Club: Read and discuss the book, then watch and discuss the film adaptation
- Teen Writing Workshop: Build and strengthen creative writing skills
- Monthly Teen Crafts: Express your creativity
- Threads and Chill: A relaxed hangout for crochet and conversation

Teen services extend beyond Pensacola Library. All West Florida Public Libraries locations offer teen-friendly spaces and programming, along with access to resources such as 3D printing, video gaming, virtual reality and laser engraving.
