The Makerspaces at WFPL

West Florida Public Libraries has several new Makerspace options with Fiber Arts, an Art Studio (Studio1559), both at the Pensacola Library, and the traditional Makerspace at the Westside Library with 3D printers and laser engravers.

Calling all creatives! Have you ever wanted to make your own quilt? Or how about use a 3D printer to make a new gadget?
Welcome to the WFPL Makerspace, where we have the tools and classes to help you make whatever your heart desires!
In addition to having access to top-of-the-line machines and software, you will now be able to take one-on-one classes to either learn a new skill or build upon the ones you already have.
Did we mention all of this is free with a WFPL library card?
We have three locations now available and open to the public: the Pensacola Library Branch, Bellview Library Branch, and Westside Library Branch!
*Please note that the Pensacola Branch Library is the only branch that offers access to the larger fiber arts machines.
*Additionally, please note that for larger and more complex projects, you will need to schedule an appointment(s) by emailing us.*

*Please note that you will need to schedule an appointment to use the Bella Prima Longarm Quilter. Additionally, for projects larger than a throw blanket, you will need to schedule at least two sessions.
