Bulletin Board Policy

The West Florida Public Libraries provide bulletin boards for dissemination of information of interest to the Escambia County community. Priority will be given to materials relating to the Library, Friends of the Library, and Escambia County government.

As space allows, general information about active organizations engaged in non-profit educational, cultural, intellectual or charitable activities may be posted with prior permission.

As space allows, public notices and announcements of upcoming meetings, civic, cultural, educational, and recreational events sponsored by organizations engaged in educational, cultural, intellectual or charitable activities may be posted with prior permission. 

No information from for-profit organizations, businesses, or individuals shall be posted. No information containing partisan information shall be posted.   

All information posted on library bulletin boards will be reviewed by staff monthly to remove items that have expired.
