2012 TAX FORMS

IRS will begin processing income tax returns beginning January 30th.

There are several forms affected by the late legislation that require more extensive programming and testing of IRS systems. The IRS hopes to begin accepting tax returns including these tax forms between late February and into March; a specific date will be announced in the near future.

Our goal is to stock basic forms and instruction booklets such as the 1040EZ, 1040A, 1040, Earned Income Credit (EIC), and Schedules A, B, and C.*

Need help preparing your taxes?

There are several ways you can get the help you need in filing your 2012 tax return. You may even qualify for free tax preparation assistance.

AARP Foundation Tax-Aide offers free help for taxpayers with low and moderate income, with special attention to those age 60 and older. CLICK HERE to find an AARP Foundation Tax-Aide site near you.

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) is another program that offers free assistance filing taxes for those who are low income, elderly, or disabled. Spanish and ASL interpreters available upon request (Please allow 3 days notice). Volunteers are trained and certified by the IRS to prepare tax returns. CLICK HERE to find a list of VITA locations.
