Interlibrary Loan

INTERLIBRARY LOAN (ILL)
 
West Florida Public Library has a great selection of books, but sometimes you just can’t find the one you’re looking for. That’s where our InterLibrary Loan (ILL) service comes in handy.
  
Using our special Do It Yourself (DIY) network, you can find the book at a library in Florida or anywhere in the United States, request it, then pick it up at WFPL.
  
It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3!
  
1 – Grab your WFPL card to begin
2 – Check our catalog to see if WFPL already owns the item you’re looking for
3 – Search and request the item from other libraries

What else can you request?
  
In addition to books, you can also request copies of documents that are owned by another library. This includes articles from magazines or newspapers, obituaries and more.
