Includes United States census information from 1790-1930, vital, church, court, military, e/immigration records to assist in genealogical research as well as information about creating family trees with downloadable forms.  Also has some digitized newspapers, school yearbooks and maps and an abundance of other primary source information.  This database can be reached from one of our many internet computers or from a personal laptop computer connected to the library’s wireless internet signal.

HeritageQuest (Home Access) (Library Access)

HeritageQuest Online combines digitized U.S. federal census records from 1790-1930 with many full-text family and local history book titles.  The collection dates back to the late 1700s and includes many primary source documents such as tax lists, city directories and probate records.  A great database for genealogical or historical research.

Health and Wellness Resource Center

Including the respected Gale Encyclopedia of Medicine, Health & Wellness Resource Center delivers up-to-date reference material as well as full-text pamphlets and magazine and journal articles from a wide variety of authoritative medical sources.  Additionally, consumers, students, and professionals are provided with descriptions of and links to many pertinent websites.  In partnership with Harvard Health, Health & Wellness Resource Center also provides the latest health news from Harvard Health Publications, a division of the Harvard Medical School.  Alternative health information is also provided.  This database is not a substitute for professional medical diagnosis or treatment.
