Career Online High School

The West Florida Public Libraries are pleased to announce our participation in the Career Online High School (COHS) program. This program offers adults (19 and older) who have not previously earned a high school diploma or a high school equivalency diploma the opportunity to earn an accredited high school diploma and career certificate online.

 

The program offers a limited number of scholarships to qualified adult learners who are looking to advance their careers, prepare for workforce entry, and continue their education. Career Online High School through the West Florida Public Libraries is open to all eligible WFPL card holders. 

 

Applicants who successfully complete an online self-assessment, a prerequisite course, and an in-person interview will be considered for enrollment.

 

The core classes consist of the following subjects: English, Math, Social Studies, and Science.  

 

In addition to earning a high school diploma, students will earn a career certificate in one of these high-demand fields:
