Friends of the Southwest Branch Library (FSWBL) is a non-profit 501(c)(3). The organization supports the mission of West Florida Public Library’s Southwest Branch through fundraising and volunteerism. FSWBL is a member of the Florida Library Association and the Perdido Key Area Chamber of Commerce.

FSWBL Board Meetings are held monthly on Mondays at 5:15 PM*, except holidays. Friend members are welcome to attend. Agenda items must be submitted to Cathy Ingram prior to the meeting.

Join us the second monday of the month for The Friends of the Southwest Branch Library quarterly meeting. We kick things off with refreshments at 6:30pm. Then at 7pm, enjoy special presentations from guest speakers and great folks in our community. It is a fun time for everyone.

We’ve got new and gently used items on sale at rock bottom prices. You never know what treasures you will find. We sell books of all types:

Our bookstore is run by friendly and knowledgeable volunteers, and there are new items daily. All proceeds benefit our children’s program at the Southwest Branch Library.
